a beautiful statement

i saw these seats at the 7 station and i thought it was some sort of prolific, artistic statement. after a while i decided that the statement was that the mta is too lazy to unwrap the seats. either that or they copied a page out of grannies guide and like to keep the plastic on to keep it looking nice. they really were quite interesting as cardboard wrapped, stapled, and wire bound forms. i know, who cares.
