this site offers a lot of really great international design conferences. if you have a few extra grand to part with, i suggest checking one out. i went to graficeurope in berlin, and it was nothing short of amazing. this year the conference is supposed to be held in budapest, but they haven't updated the site and it's supposed to be in the spring. maybe they hit a snag. but this is a great resource to check out. especially since all of the cool designers speak in europe and not in the us. plus, you can write the whole thing off, and we all know that's some good stuff.
